Walk In Refrigerator / Freezer Box

Restaurants contain a range of equipment to create refrigerated storage necessary to maintain the quality of the foods to be prepared and served and perform other functions. This often includes both refrigerated and freezer space, with different refrigeration units for each, ice makers, reach-in units, beverage coolers and machines used to produce soft ice cream, milk shakes or slushes. The value of refrigeration equipment ranges from about $1,000 for countertop equipment to in excess of $10,000 for walk-ins. Breakdowns are usually a result of either electrical breakdown of motors, or mechanical parts breaking in the compressor. Breakdown of refrigeration equipment often results in a Business Interruption and/or Perishable Goods loss that can far exceed the property damage loss. If breakdown results in refrigerant leakage it can pose an additional risk for foodstuffs contamination.
