Air Conditioning System Restaurant systems generally include air conditioning units, cooling towers, and a wide variety of air handling fans, blowers and dampers. Since uncomfortable customers tend to take their business elsewhere, an air conditioning breakdown during a heat wave can easily result in a Business Interruption loss that may exceed the property damage loss. Most air conditioning breakdowns are a result of either electrical breakdown of the driving motors or mechanical parts breaking in the compressor.
