Air Conditioning System Central air conditioning systems or units are used to supply chilled water to the various floors. Air conditioning systems contain a variety of components that can suffer a breakdown and result in costly repairs or replacement. Most air conditioning breakdowns are a result of either electrical breakdown of motors or mechanical breakdown of compressors. The compressor alone can be worth $20,000 or more.
