Air Conditioning System

Air Conditioning is normally provided by centralized systems that includes centrifugal chillers, compressors, condensers, cooling towers, and a wide variety of air handling fans, blowers and other equipment. Most air conditioning breakdowns are a result of either electrical breakdown of motors or mechanical breakdown of compressors. Many hospitals have dedicated chillers for the operating room(s). Since air conditioning is mission critical equipment in a hospital, system redundancy and extra capacity are important issues. Without redundancy and extra capacity, large rental units would be needed in an outage and the extra expense exposure is significantly higher.
