Kitchen Equipment
Hospitals contain large commercial kitchens to supply patient food and for cafeteria services. The kitchen will likely contain jacketed steam kettles (a type of boiler) and a wide variety of other cooking equipment. Steam is also used in commercial style dishwashers for rinsing at high temperatures (175 °F) necessary for sterilization.
