Day of Caring.  Each year, scores of volunteers participate in the United Way's Day of Caring. Whether it's helping with a party or painting doorframes, HSB employees are always willing to help.

Employees also participate in the annual Dragon Boat Races on the Connecticut River to benefit Riverfront Recapture.

Employees Reach Out

HSB employees also “give back” to the community through volunteering for charities. Many employees participate in the United Way’s “Day of Caring.”  HSB employees also volunteer for many other charities, such as Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, Riverfront Recapture, Our Piece of the Pie, and in the school reading program “Everybody Wins!”  The company encourages volunteerism by granting employees paid time off for volunteer activities.
