Hartford Steam Boiler’s commitment to the community is quite significant relative to its size. HSB’s grants benefit a wide range of organizations that affect many facets of life -- the arts, education, health, and civic responsibility. HSB believes that these are the pillars that support a strong, vibrant, and thriving community. 

A physical example of one of our numerous contributions is the Quenticut sculpture on Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.

In addition, through our parent company, AIG, we have a very generous matching gift program that doubles our employees' donations to their favorite causes.

Each year, HSB and our employees also support two major fundraising efforts through workplace campaigns:

• Health and human services agencies through the United Way Campaign in Hartford and in communities where our branch offices are located.
• Arts and heritage programs through the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
