Margaret Lawson Inducted into Junior Achievement Hall of Fame

Margaret Lawson, Assistant Vice President, was inducted into the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame in March 2008 for her many years of devoted service to the organization.

Margaret helped organize the first Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame dinner in 1981 and has been involved in every annual dinner since. In the early 1990s, she served as chair of Junior Achievement's board and brought the organization from a deficit to a surplus of $100,000 in three years.

Margaret joined HSB in 1981 and is responsible for event marketing, planning conferences, special meetings, trade shows, and other projects.

Presenting the award were Charles Shivery (on the left), Chairman and CEO of Northeast  Utilities and chairman of the 2008 JA Hall of Fame, and Brendan Lynch, retired Travelers Life executive, co-chair of the event.
